abc Glass Processing – Important Covid-19 Information for Customers
abc Glass Processing is open and our local delivery service is operating normally. Due to Covid-19 and Government guidelines, we have implemented measures and working practices to maintain social distancing and customer safety, while providing as normal service as possible. Revised office opening times
While we are working with Covid-19 restrictions, customers should note that our opening hours have changed temporarily. Until further notice our office will operate from 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
Procedural and staff safety measures
We are temporarily operating with a skeleton staff, but our delivery service is running, and customers can collect orders by prior appointment. Access for customer collections will be restricted to one customer at a time and our production and delivery lead times may be a little longer than usual.
Production shifts are being staggered and staff have been provided with hand sanitiser and personal protective equipment. Social distancing is being observed and regular handwashing encouraged. Gloves and facemasks will be used where social distancing cannot be effectively maintained. We have intensified our cleaning regime for all areas of our business, including buildings, vehicles, and machinery.
Our offices and factory are open to trade and public customers and our delivery service is operating. Hand sanitiser is available for visitors and staff will observe social distancing. Where social distancing cannot be adequately maintained masks will be worn. In the interests of customer and staff safety, we are not currently offering onsite services such as measuring and installing glass splashbacks.
We reserve the right to refuse entry our offices and factory, and will ask individuals to leave, if we believe that they are not following social distancing and safety measures or if we feel that their conduct is putting customers and staff in danger.
Ordering from us and service restrictions
We have not changed our order process, but customers should be advised that some services are not currently available. Orders can be placed in the following ways
- By telephone, fax or email with delivery
- By telephone, fax or email with customer collection by prior appointment
Deliveries and collections
Deliveries will be made to customers trading address only and signatures will not be required for deliveries. We cannot deliver to construction sites at the current time.
Our drivers have been provided with hand sanitiser, gloves and face masks and they will observe social distancing measures where possible. Where social distancing cannot be observed facemasks will be worn.
Customers can collect orders from our factory, but this will be by appointment only. We will notify customers when orders are ready for collection.
