One of the most exciting applications to come about in the last 20 years, glass painting (or back painted glass) is now at the head of glass processing innovation. Not only that, the palette of possibilities offered by abc Glass Processing is boundless.
Teed off with tiles and still not sold on stainless steel? Painted glass splashbacks are an excellent alternative for bathrooms and kitchens, providing practicality and panache.
How do we create painted glass panels?
We use a revolutionary system called GlassKote that mixes an agent with your chosen paint to create a durable colour finish (and or texture) to our toughened and processed glass. Behind the production of pristine painted glass for more than 40 years in 30+ countries across the globe, GlassKote allows us to offer you almost endless options for your painted glass panels.
Alongside GlassKote we offer colour-matching options too. Colours can be easily coordinated with your décor or branding to make your glass splashback, glass worktop, glass shower screen or glass partitioning cohesive with the rest of your interior design.
Most standard shades can be taken from the existing RAL colour chart range although many colours can be matched using by our in-house glass painting experts. For those looking for a wow-factor colour-pop, our experienced team can offer advice on complementary contrasting colours too. While a sparkle finish can add an extra special touch to your painted glass panels.
When does the glass painting happen?
Glass painting is the last phase of glass processing. This means that before we create the painted glass effect we’ll custom cut the glass, temper it at our glass toughen plant, drill any holes for plug sockets or wiring, and then polish it to perfection.
What comes after glass painting?
