Glass Toughening
Tempered glass has approximately 5 times the mechanical and thermal strength of annealed glass and can be used in many applications where safety glass is required.
Toughened glass can be used for balustrade, partitioning, shower screens, shelving and furniture glass.
At ABC we have installed an Efco Glass Toughening plant which is a British made toughening system. Efco horizontal flat glass tempering systems allows us to produce high quality toughened glass from 4mm up to 19mm glass.
Minimum size 250mm x 250mm with the maximum being 1500mm x 3000mm.
All our glass produced is produced to the toughen standard EN1250/1&2.
